Raq the Harbor 2026 is shifting to an online pre-recorded show (just for this year!) so I can be fully present for important family needs this summer.  In-person festival magic will be back in 2027!

Raq the Harbor will be presented as a pre-recorded show as a YouTube Premiere on July 18, 2026 at 6pm Pacific Time.  After the Premiere on July 18th, it will convert to a regular YouTube video that can be viewed any time after that.

Videos are due by 5:00 pm Pacific time July 11, 2026.

Making your video can be as easy as opening up a solo Zoom meeting and recording yourself.  Using the Sound Share feature is recommended for best sound quality. I can show you how!  I can also fade in/out to tidy up the beginning and end of your video if needed.

You'll need to send the actual video file, not a YouTube link.  MP4 format is preferred.

Previously recorded videos from other venues are also accepted.

A word about music on YouTube:  Dancers will need to test their music on YouTube, and I can show you how to do that.  It's easy!  Most of the time the copyright holder will allow their music to be used, but once in a while they don't and YT will block it, in which case the ENTIRE show would be blocked.  Chances are that your music will be just fine, though.  If you don't know how to check your music, I can help!

Initially, all dance spots are 8 minutes maximum - solos, duos, troupes, everybody.  Longer time slots may become available depending on the number of dancers.  I can often accommodate slightly longer dance spots, but DO check with me first.
